ACOUSTIC, STRIPPED BACK OR ELECTRIC SOLO LIVE SHOWS, FOR FESTIVALS, GIGS, FUNCTIONS AND EVENTS. AVAILABLE TO BOOK NOW.
As a solo performer, Giles captures the attention of any audience he plays in front of. His charisma and energy is a craft he has worked on for many years playing festivals, shows, clubs, cafes, corporate events and functions. He is a virtuosic performer with multi-instrumentalist talents, and his unique use of music technology to create the sound of a band whilst performing solo. From performing at festivals such as Threshold and Glastonbury to playing clubs and pubs, Giles adapts to each audience with stage craft, music style and vibe. Giles also has a live set specific for weddings and private family events, with styles ranging from upbeat pop and indie tunes to subtle background acoustic music.
Giles has flexible approaches to different types of shows and events. His solo live setups are either acoustic or electric guitar driven with a mixture of both covers and some carefully selected originals, depending on the event. He regularly takes requests prior to events for a personalised show. He travels with his own PA system and live looping rig, the entire setup is fully self-contained. For tech specifications for his solo live show, please visit his EPK for promoters and venue owners.

Giles plays a mixture of either covers focused sets, or a set of original music. Giles' covers repertorie consists of a mixture of pop, indie and rock tunes from several decades, 1970s to present day. Some highlights include 'Black and Gold' by Sam Sparro, 'Latch' by Disclosure and 'Everybody Wants to Rule the World' by Tears for Fears. A full list for 2022 can be found below. He also takes requests, with a two week turnaround for new songs, and can adapt his set list for a variety of time slots. Typical sets are 2x45', 3x30', but he can perform day sets of up to 4 hours total performance time, with enough material to accommodate.
Giles’ solo sets comprise of either acoustic instruments (acoustic guitar and percussion), or his electronic set (electric guitar, drum pads, percussion and keyboard all linked to Ableton live). He can cater for differing volumes, atmospheres, or occasions from solo acoustic up to full band style live shows. Giles travels with a 2200w PA system and sound rig.
