Giles Stelfox creates the music of a solo-artist with the sound of a band; he is a live musician, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Reading, UK. Challenging the definition of live performance, Giles live loops all the layers of songs from scratch, whilst still showcasing his charisma and attention-grabbing energy to connect with any crowd at any event. Giles has been featured and acclaimed by BBC Introducing, Oxfam Festivals and has been a semi-finalist for The Pilton Stage Glastonbury competition in 2022, performing in front of founder, Michael Eavis.

For his covers sets, expect modern takes on classic covers and sing-along anthems with a set list ranging from 70s hits all the way to modern day. Giles' solo live setups are either acoustic or electric guitar driven with a mixture of both covers and some carefully selected originals, depending on the event. He travels with his own PA and lighting, all fully self contained.

"An ingenious artist who manages to flesh out his pop songs with just himself and his own wizardry" - Shaun Keaveny, BBC Radio 6.

Giles works with various agencies including EventUK and Gigrealm for club chains and functions. To book Giles directly, please contact

Giles plays a mixture of either covers focused sets, or a set of original music. Giles' covers repertorie consists of a mixture of pop, indie and rock tunes from several decades, 1970s to present day. Some highlights include 'Black and Gold' by Sam Sparro, 'Latch' by Disclosure and 'Everybody Wants to Rule the World' by Tears for Fears. A full list can be found below. He also takes requests, with a two week turnaround for new songs, and can adapt his set list for a variety of time slots. Typical sets are 2x45', 3x30', but he can perform day sets of up to 4 hours total performance time, with enough material to accommodate.

Giles’ solo sets are either acoustic or electric guitar based, combined with percussion and electronic drum pads which sets his three-dimensional sound apart from other looping performers. For larger shows, he uses a keyboard and additional percussion, all live looped via an advanced Looperboard. He can cater for differing volumes, atmospheres, or occasions from solo acoustic up to full band style live shows. Giles travels with a 2200w PA system and sound rig to suit up to 300 people, or a small outdoor festival stage. For more information about technical info, please email
